Longform & Intro Video Editing Services
Longform video and podcast intro editing with animated captions, custom sound design, and 2D/3D visuals matched to your video's pace.
Longform & Intro Video Editing Services
The opening seconds of a video or podcast episode do most of the work of keeping someone around. A flat, static intro loses people before they've even heard your point and a longform video that doesn't keep its pacing tight loses them somewhere in the middle. I edit both: full longform videos and the intros or podcast openers that set the tone for everything after.
Most of my recent work has been documentary-style editing turning scripts into full visual narratives, building custom AI-generated scenes for places or events where stock footage doesn't exist, and animating maps, timelines, and graphs to make complex information easy to follow. That same attention to pacing and visual clarity is what goes into every intro and longform edit I put together.

Pricing (Per Minute)
Pricing scales with runtime, so a short podcast intro and a 20-minute documentary aren't priced the same way you pay for the length of what actually gets delivered.
2D — $15/minute
Flat-style animated visuals with synced captions and sound. A clean, cost-effective option for straightforward intros or longform sections that don't need dimensional depth.
3D+2D — $35/minute
Layered 2D and 3D visuals for extra depth and polish. This is the tier most podcast intros and documentary-style videos land on, since the added dimension gives objects, maps, and scenes more presence.
3D+2D (Premium) — $80/minute
Top-tier 3D+2D visuals, an original score composed for the piece, faster turnaround, and two rounds of revisions included. Fits flagship episodes, channel intros, or any opener meant to set the bar for what follows.
Who This Is For
This service fits YouTube channels that need a strong, animated intro sequence, podcasters who want a proper video opener instead of a static title card, and documentary or educational channels producing full longform episodes. If you already have a script, audio, or a clear idea of the tone, I build the visual and audio layer around it.
How It Works
- Send your script, audio, or raw footage: plus any reference intros or visual direction you have in mind.
- I build out the edit: animated captions, motion graphics, sound design, and score, matched to the pacing of your content.
- You review the draft: revisions are included based on your package.
- Final delivery: export-ready for YouTube, podcast platforms, or wherever you're publishing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you edit full episodes, just intros, or both?
Both. This service covers standalone podcast intros or channel openers as well as full longform video editing send over what you need and I'll scope it accordingly.
How is pricing calculated?
Pricing is per finished minute of video, based on the tier you choose. A 90-second intro at the 3D+2D tier, for example, would be priced at 1.5 times the per-minute rate.
Can you build a custom intro sequence I can reuse for every episode?
Yes, a lot of clients commission one strong intro sequence and reuse it across episodes, which keeps ongoing costs down since you're only paying for it once.
Can you create custom scenes if I don't have footage for something?
Yes, I've built custom AI-generated scenes for documentary projects to represent events, locations, or concepts where stock footage wasn't available or didn't fit.
